Jio Financial Services, Reliance's finance arm, reports July-September results today. Its share is ₹219, down 30% from ₹312 a year ago and near its 52-week low. Income is growing fast, but profit is small for a company valued at about ₹1.4 lakh crore. Jio Platforms' IPO and a shared investor base keep it in the news.
Its board meets on 15 October for July-September results. The Jio Platforms IPO opens on 21 October. Traders often move the Reliance group's companies together.
Income rose from ₹1,854 crore in 2023-24 to ₹2,043 crore in 2024-25 and ₹3,513 crore in 2025-26 as lending, leasing and payments grew. But profit stayed flat: ₹1,605 crore, ₹1,613 crore and ₹1,561 crore. April-June 2026 brought income of ₹2,004 crore and profit of ₹830 crore, its best quarter, up from ₹325 crore a year earlier.
It listed in August 2023 and peaked near ₹388. It closed at ₹219 on 14 October 2026, against ₹312 a year ago and a 52-week low of ₹211. At about ₹1.4 lakh crore, it trades at almost 90 times last year's profit, so the market is valuing the plans, not today's earnings.
Whether July-September profit stays near April-June's ₹830 crore. Growth in its loan book. Its joint ventures with BlackRock in asset management and Allianz in insurance. Any change in how the promoters, who own 49%, use it inside the Reliance group.
